Boston University Alumni Association of China Global Investment Forum
Meet BU alumni from around the globe in China for this exciting international event, a gala celebration of the launch of the Boston University Alumni Association of China and the first ever worldwide business and networking forum held for the entire BU alumni community. Socialize with your fellow alumni and learn more about financial and investment opportunities in the Asian alumni community. BU President Robert Brown, Dr. Beverly Brown, Vice President Scott Nichols, and Trustee Hugo Shong (com’87), president of IDG China, will travel to Beijing in honor of this milestone.

Presidential Reception
Dr. Robert A. Brown, president of Boston University, visited Hong Kong
on January 15. A reception was held to give alumni a chance to meet the
president on a personal level. It was held at the 7th Floor
of Conrad Hotel Hong Kong and featured refreshments for guests. 70
alumni showed up at the event.
Dr. Brown and all guests had a good time to
socialize and get to know each other. Many alumni stopped by and talked
with the president about various issues, and of course they did not
forget to take pictures with big smiles.

HK Inter Club Alumni Monthly Happy Hour – November 2007
This is the first of a series of happy hour events that will be held on the last Thursdays if each month, the first of which will be on November 29. This debut event of the Inter Club Happy Hour will be co-hosted by the following universities:

Inter Club brings together university alumni/alumnae from variety of countries and continents. It is our goal to make this monthly event as inclusive as possible; alumni/ alumnae from all colleges and universities are welcomed to participate, and you are encouraged to bring friends and co-workers.

Boston University Asia Alumni Festival Hong Kong 2007
After months of anticipation, the Boston University Alumni 2nd Festival hosted by BUAA Hong Kong has come to an end. It has proved to be a huge success; as BU alumni from all over Asia came together to celebrate this event. This proves the strong and lasting bonds of the BU alumni community, and without your support none of this would have been possible. Thank you for your unconditional support and BUAAHK will be looking forward to seeing all fellow BU alumni in the many future events.

Boston University Alumni Association Hong Kong 1st Business and Investment Forum 2007
The large number of local and international attendees at the recent 1st BU Asian Alumni Business and Investment Forum held on March 9 & 10 2007 in Hong Kong voted it an outstanding success.
